Baker Baynes announces B-BBEE Level 1 Accreditation

Posted On 2021-02-02

Today, we as Baker Baynes, a niche technology consulting company dedicated to digital transformation proudly announce our achievement of South Africa’s most sought-after BEE level, B-BBEE Level 1.

This strategic move aligns Baker Baynes with the unique opportunity to support digital transformation, so desperately needed in industries such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, and Mining.

And as the only Autodesk Gold Partner in the country with this status, we believe this achievement will deepen our relationships with Government, and further strengthen the work done with our private sector clients we have worked with over the years, all of whom are at the forefront of our country’s Strategic Integrated Projects, (SIP) announced last year by Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Patricia de Lille, amongst others.

Furthermore, as proud advocates and representatives of Autodesk, the world’s largest software creator for people who make things – across the manufacturing, architecture, building, construction, media, and entertainment industries, we believe that this achievement will empower our customers to continue to innovate and lead. And if the recent COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, the need for project delivery while working remotely is critical. Many of Autodesk’s products enable cloud collaboration, empowering teams to safely work from home or in limited environments, hence technology and workflow adjustments are critical to ensure project success.

How does this change the way you purchase from us? Private Sector companies will gain procurement points when purchasing Autodesk, Leica, Topcon technology as well as associated consulting and training programs from us. On the other hand, South African Government will gain the advantage of dealing with a company aligned to their requirements.
