Working in a BIM Environment raises a number of questions around the legalities of who owns the model, where Intellectual Property starts and ends on designs and what can be done to remove the ‘blurred lines’ around ownership and sharing of IP.

In this legal segment, Mark Thomas and Keshia Manolios, Directors in the Dispute Resolution practice at Andersen in South Africa, discuss Intellectual Property and Copyright, in the context of a BIM Environment.
